Drop my computer bag on the desk and start unpacking.
MacBook Pro comes out first, then I climb under the desk to reach the socket. Plug in extra monitor and network cable. This is hard work already, so I go for a coffee.
Pull out iPod and cable, plug in and tuck away out of sight behind the monitor.
Get out diary, notebook and Hipster pda*, place pen on top of writing pad on the desk.

Adjust Einstein figurine that almost without fail falls over during the night. Mysterious.
Pull out relevant cards from Hipster pda, cross out tasks I’d already finished.
Crack knuckles.
